Kristen grew up in Kimberley, a small Bavarian themed town wedged between the Purcell and Rocky mountain ranges in the Southeast corner of British Columbia. She now resides in Nelson, where she is inspired by the landscapes she frequents often, translating them into paintings.
Kristen has a Bachelor of Design from Emily Carr University, a Bachelor of Education in high school STEM from Thompson Rivers University, and a Master of Land and Water Systems from the University of British Columbia. Kristen blends her background in the fine arts and the sciences throughout her work, and is continually in awe of how the two pair together.
All of Kristen’s paintings are acrylic on Birch. If you would like to purchase an original artwork or request a commission, please fill out the contact form.
